November is American Diabetes Month and time to become more educated on this growing disease in our country.  The American Diabetes Association has some great information on diabetes, the myths, how to deal with the disease, and also ways to donate to this cause.  There are many ways that we can take our everyday recipes and adjust them a little to make them healthier for us and especially those with diabetes.  In fact, here is a link to share some of Paula Dean’s most popular recipes that have been changed to a healthier version and taste just as delicious!
